What is creativity?

When we start working with primary school students on developing their creative thinking, we ask them – what is creativity?

We heard hundreds of answers to this question, during this term alone.  It is always interesting to see how young children understand creativity.

This term we saw the most beautiful and creative way to explain creativity, written by a year 4 student – “We think creativity is a space at the back our mind! Past the library and the musical band, to a door. A very dull door, but when you open the door, there are…..COLOURS and THOUGHTS and things you have learned!”

With schools being closed, Glittering Minds would like to help families by providing free fun activities you can all do at home, to develop everyone’s creative thinking.

If you would like to receive such activities, please email us your name and email address to info@glitteringminds.com.au

While we are going through this together, look after your physical and mental well-being.
